Assess if a toller's system will work well at their own facility and research alternative options.

They needed to keep Ford business and ensure that the solution chosen would work for Chrysler and GM as well.

The appropriate solution needs to be installed and up and running before the facility's grace period runs out with Ford.

They needed me to manage the evaluation and installation if the toller's solution met their needs.

Remarks

The toller's solution met the facility's needs and only required about 40 hours of configuration time.

Implementing this solution prevented fines more than once. My involvement prevented a fine that was definitely inevitable otherwise.

Results

Net saving for the first year was about $200,000.

Estimated revenue gain of $100,000 for the 1st year.

ROI was less than 4 months.

Their efficiency improved by about 60% and the their accuracy went from about 80% to 100%.

Workers were having fun using the system we installed.
