The customer purchased a new facility near an existing facility to help process more automotive orders.

This enabled the customer to pick up new Ford business they did not have before.

I was needed to get the new facility set up just like their existing facility.

Remarks

Expected costs were reduced by utilizing the existing facility's system.  The new facility was able to be up and running in about one week with minimal costs limited to hand-held scanners, minimal network hardware, and the effort to configure the devices.

The network configurations implemented as part of this project were also used for day-to-day tasks like e-mail, printing, and faxing communications.

Results

Estimated revenue gain of $150,000 for the 1st year.

The ROI was less than 3 months.
